Removed Luffing Cylinder from ThysennKrupp Reclaimer
Significant engineering was required to ensure machine stability during change out. The reclaimer had a two-piece hinged boom.
Issues addressed and resolvedĀ
This project presented a complex change out due to machine design. Tidal Solutions worked closely with our associate engineering company MMH Engineering to develop a safe procedure for removal. Due to the length of time the existing luffing cylinder had been in place, there were significant challenges presented with safe removal. Tidal Solutions completed the project within project timelines and budget with no HSE incidents or accidents.
